Edit Developer Information
The developer homepage is the main public entry for showing your identity and open assets. Users can open an entity’s developer homepage through the entries currently provided by the platform.
Real-name verification only collects information required for verification. Public avatar, nickname, bio, and contact details must be filled in under “Settings — Developer information”.
Developer Avatar
The developer avatar is required. After an entity is created, the system generates a default avatar from the developer nickname; you can replace it with a custom upload.
Upload requirements:
- Size: 512×512 px;
- File size: no more than 5000KB;
- Format: JPG or PNG;
- Content must not include illegal, non-compliant, infringing, or misleading information.
Developer Nickname
The developer nickname is required and unique across the platform. After you change it, the homepage name and open-asset attribution update together.
Nickname requirements:
- Length: 2–20 characters;
- Must not be only digits, only spaces, emoji, or unsupported special characters;
- Must not contain sensitive, illegal, or prohibited content;
- Must not impersonate official, platform, customer service, or admin roles;
- Must not use wording that is easily misunderstood as “official, platform, customer service, admin, admin”, etc.;
- Non-Tencent entities must not impersonate or imitate Tencent-family brands;
- Must not use Tencent-family brand names that imply an official affiliation;
- Must not use misleading endorsements such as “verified, VIP, first, exclusive, guaranteed”;
- Must not use test-style names such as “test, demo, trial”.
Nicknames are for platform display only and do not imply trademark or brand ownership. If a nickname infringes others’ lawful rights, the platform may require changes or reclaim it.
Developer Bio
The developer bio is required and must be 20–120 characters. It should clearly describe the individual, team, or company’s focus and main assets, and must not use exaggerated, false, or unverifiable marketing claims.
Contact Information
Contact details are shown publicly on the developer homepage. Supported types include official website, contact email, WeChat official account, and custom platforms.
- At least 1 item;
- At most 5 items;
- For a custom platform, enter the platform name and the corresponding account name or account ID;
- Must not include illegal, fraudulent, infringing, or unrelated information.
Click Save after editing; the profile applies to the current entity’s developer homepage.
Developer Homepage Content
The developer homepage shows:
- Header: developer avatar, nickname, and verification badge; enterprise entities also show the full company name;
- About the developer: developer bio and public contact details;
- Published assets: skills, experts, connectors, and Buddy apps by type; users can open detail pages or add and use assets through platform entries.
Public display conditions and entry availability follow the platform’s current page rules.
Content Compliance and Violation Handling
Developer avatar, nickname, bio, contact details, enterprise display name, and asset descriptions and materials must comply with platform rules.
When the platform finds violating content, it may take actions such as:
- Restoring the avatar to the system default;
- Replacing a violating bio with fallback copy;
- Hiding violating contact details;
- Restricting developer homepage display;
- Requiring the developer to edit and resubmit;
- Taking actions such as delisting for serious violations by an entity or capability.
After you receive a remediation notice, update the violating content and resubmit promptly. Related information can be shown again only after remediation passes.
